FUCKBUTTONSZEDSDEAD!

Right, so I don't actually have all that much to say. I'm a wee bitty drunk, I'm watching crappy gameshows on Sky and I should be in my bed...had a bit of a long day, which involved finding a mouse in my living room...a fairly, I'm sure, dead one at that...I trapped it in some tupperware and put it out in the garden. Other than that, I went into work for a couple of hours, had someone come view my flat, then my friend came round for pizza...then I was DJing at Sick Note at Cabaret Voltaire, which was AWESOME!!!!! It reminded me of a couple of totes awesome tracks I just had to tell you about! They're not new, they're just awesome is all. Here they be!

Radiohead - Pyramid Song (Zeds Dead Illuminati Remix) <-----freakin' incredible producers from Canada!

And finally, the incredible Bristolian (well, they studied there...) duo, Fuck Buttons! I went to ATP last December and managed to somehow miss them twice. TWICE!!! I don't even know how that's possible...anyways, today I found out they're playing at The Arches in Glasgow on the 24th April and I'm SOOOO going to be there! I'm properly excited actually. For anyone who's not heard of them, their music is pretty abrasive and I guess in some ways is somewhat industrial, but it's super enjoyable and addictive. There's an interview in this months issue of The Skinny which quotes them as saying 'We tend to jam it out for a very long time and the more you listen to something the more intracacies you can pick out of it', which is very true of their music...some of their tracks are over 10 minutes long but I wouldn't change them for anyone. The boys are right when they say 'it does have that hypnotic effect on us'. Well, it certainly does on me...so, here's my favourite track from their latest album, Tarot Sport.
